Two teams competed in the 2017 Pasifika Aotearoa Sevens tournament earlier this month.  Ardmore Marist and Tangaroa College came together and fielded U15 girls and U18 girls sides in this festival event.  

Supported by CMRFU and NZ Rugby, the PAC7s is a tournament for school teams, club teams and cultural teams.   The tournament is in it's 5th year with 2016 seeing 30 teams entered.

This initiative is a fantastic opportunity for clubs to foster stronger links to schools, and to keep the girls involved in playing rugby.

Ardmore Marist is sincerely appreciative of Tangaroa College, Kirk Jennings, Cynthia Ta’ala, Tau Tiatia, Saua Leaupepetele, and all of the girls families for training the teams, assembling the players and helping on the day!
